#2 Relax "You must relax and wait it out, you’ll know when the time is right." Kids respond authentically to authentic interactions. Observe their behavior, don’t chase them around, find what it is they’re in the mood for. This obviously takes time, and if you’re shooting on a schedule you may feel pressure. The key is to take a deep breath and think creatively; with a myriad of possibilities for interactive games it is you, the photographer, who has the obligation to find the magic that will capture the child’s interest and recognize the resulting expressions. Patience is key and you must allow for the session to mature to this point, time overages for this reason, must be accommodated. |
