Real Estate Photography | Terms Of Service
By ordering services from SophterLight Photography you agree to the following Service Agreement for Digital Imagery, photographic services and products. We hope that these policies are instructional as we work together to make your session turn out great.
Behind the policies is also a commitment to do our best job. From ordering to delivery we want your experience in working with us to be positive.
When we make a mistake, we will make it right. If we cannot make it right we will refund your money.
Cancellation Policy:
SophterLight Photography understands that homes may not be ready for shooting as expected when the tour was scheduled. It is the responsibility of the agent to let us know as soon as possible if the home will not be ready so that the shoot can be rescheduled. A shoot that is rescheduled or canceled after 5pm the day before the shoot will be charged a $75.00 fee.
PLEASE NOTE – A $75.00 fee will also if the photographer is unable to gain entry/shoot a home. (i.e. lockbox not working, key missing, etc).
Once a photographer has arrived at venue, property or on location the order may be canceled, however there will be no refund.
Weather Policy:
There are bound to be times that services are ordered but cannot be completed due to weather. In those circumstances, the decision about shooting is up to the agent. If the agent chooses to go ahead with photography, we will provide the best images we can. If additional outdoor photos are required on a better weather day, our standard re-shoot fee applies.
Reschedules will be subject to availability.
Payment Policy:
SophterLight Photography does not collect payment information. Credit card payments are processed through Paypal, accepting all major cards that Paypal accepts.
Limitations:
It is the agent’s responsibility to ensure that the listing is ready for the virtual tour to be produced at the arranged time.
SophterLight Photography does not handle any cleaning, dusting, or moving of furniture.
The homeowner shall ensure that there are no hazards to the photographer’s safety.
The photographer will work with agents and/homeowners with regard to pets in the home, but the photographer is not a pet wrangler. If pets will be an issue please make a note of it when you order services.
Generally we will photograph the whole home. We do not usually include utility rooms or closets, but if you want those included please let us know.
Copyright Notice:
The photographer who has taken an image is the copyright holder of the image.
The copyright of an image is not transferred to any other party unless a specific written agreement is made.
Licensing may be obtained for various applications of images, please contact us for more details.

The original agent who paid for this service, has permission to use these images on any electronic or printed form of advertisement for the promotion of that property. We do allow agents to give owners of a property a copy of the images for personal use.
Builders, stagers, designers and others who wish to use images taken by our photographers should contact us for licensing information. In addition to fees paid to SophterLight Photography a property photography release will need to be obtained from the homeowner.
Images cannot be sold to another agent who takes over an expired or withdrawn listing.
Failure to pay for the images will result in a copyright infringement/violation. You will be asked to remove the image from any electronic or printed form of advertisement. Failure to stop using them will result in legal action.
